Chalk & Gibbs Insurance is an independent agency committed to serving Carteret and surrounding counties. Our commitment dates back to 1925. Our first office opened in Morehead City, NC, and we have continued to expand. As a result of our continued growth, we have opened two additional offices in Beaufort, NC, and Emerald Isle, NC. Using our teams of agents, you will be able to assess your risks and choose the coverage for your needs.

Our agency is a fourth generation family run agency. We value our employees and are proud of the family atmosphere we have created. Children of our employees are often seen at our offices during the summer or after school.

Our Mission
In 2016 we established CG Foundation. The mission of our foundation is to raise funds for those in need of Epilepsy medication. We have been fortunate to exceed our original goal. We achieved our goal of providing medication for those in need. We also have placed Special Needs playground equipment in several parks and schools.
Medication for the disease of Epilepsy can range up to $5,000 per month without insurance. Each May, on the weekend before Memorial Day, we host a golf tournament, dinner, and dance. The funds from this event contribute to the costs involved with the disease of Epilepsy. Our event is well-attended and is growing in numbers every year.
